MY MISSION...
RRVA Youth Prevention Services is committed to creating a culturally relevant and engaging space where young people and parents can connect, learn, and grow together. Our mission is to empower youth with awareness, education, and prevention strategies that are relevant to their everyday lives. By focusing on engaging and enriching experiences, we tap into music, social media, dancing, and even MMA fights—elements that resonate deeply with today’s youth. We strive to offer innovative and exciting approaches that keep them informed, connected, and inspired without simply saying ‘don’t do drugs.’ Our goal is to help them cultivate healthier lifestyles in a way that truly speaks their language.
YOUR VOICE, YOUR STORY, YOUR CHOICE!
Services

DANCE
Through dance, I help youth explore self-expression, build confidence, and release emotions in a healthy and creative way. Movement allows them to connect with their identity, gain self-awareness, and develop discipline, while also fostering a sense of belonging in a fun and engaging environment.

CRAFTS
Creative activities like crafting allow youth to express themselves freely, build patience, and see the tangible results of their efforts, which fosters self-worth. Hands-on projects serve as a therapeutic and empowering tool, teaching them mindfulness, problem-solving, and the value of personal creativity in a world that often pushes conformity.

MUSIC
Music serves as a powerful tool for self-reflection and storytelling, allowing youth to process emotions, find their voice, and relate to positive messages. By integrating music into prevention education, I connect with them on their level, using beats, lyrics, and freestyle creativity to encourage self-expression and critical thinking about their choices.

MMA FIGHTING
MMA training teaches discipline, control, and self-respect while offering an empowering outlet for stress and frustration. By incorporating MMA, I provide youth with a structured way to channel aggression, build mental and physical resilience, and develop confidence through personal growth and goal-setting.
